TAPESTRY I'm probably dating myself, but I actually remember when Carol King's Tapestry album came out...big time and the thought of life as a tapestry made an impression on my already impressionistic mind. Later, much later, the concept of a tapestry sculpture came up and this is what I came up with. This one is bold and daring, but I can imagine a whole series of different hues and flavors of tapestries. We cut strips of copper and then actually weave them together...then braze the thing in a zillion different spots to hold it together.
