MARTIAN FANTASY SHIP There's a small handful of "Martian" sculptures sprinkled around in various pages of this website. And you can directly blame the likes of Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Issac Assimov, who were my literary heroes when I was a kid. Every week I'd get another sci-fi book in the mail and I'd dive in. Most of them are now considered classics. If you've read Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, you know about Sand ships, which travel on...well...the sand. Because of this, they look a bit different and their sails are configured a bit differently. They also hisssss, as their bows glide across the sand. If this intrigues you, you just might be a candidate for a Sand Ship on your wall!
