STUDY IN CERISE If you've made it this far into my website, you've probably figured out that I don't bother very much with the baloney. Truth is: I wasn't always a sculptor. I was a little weird kid first. Then high school, college, at which point I flew fighters in the Air Force. I began studying sculpting when stationed in Tokyo. Not sure when I began learning my colors..other than red, green purple, etc. Alazarin crimson, phalo green, cerise, chartreuse, cerulean blue, rose calmethene, avanalic. I still don't know how to spell them correctly, but it doesn't really matter. I pick up a tube or two, begin squeezing and mixing. Eventually, I come up with what I was looking for and...it probably doesn't have a name. P.S. For the astute reader, I thank the 60s rock singer, Donovan for his song, "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" for some of these colors.
